Weddings
Where it all began: We met through work. I got a job in Wyeth Medica in Newbridge four years ago. I’d often see Frank in the canteen and always thought he was very good-looking. First Kiss: Was in a nightclub in Kildare. We were both there on the same night with friends. Frank came up to me to warn me about leaving my bag on the ground – even at that stage he had a Garda streak in him (he’s just about to graduate from Templemore!) The proposal: Frank took me away to a hotel in Waterford and proposed and then we went off and bought the engagement ring together. The ceremony: St John’s Church in Kilkenny which is my family parish, Fr Frank Purcell officiated at the ceremony. The reception: In Kilkenny at the Rivercourt Hotel. We always knew we’d hold our reception in the Rivercourt as it showcases just what a beautiful City Kilkenny is. I particularly wanted Frank’s family, who travelled to Kilkenny, to enjoy a post-wedding breakfast with such a stunning view of the Castle.
