Lismore House Hotel is nestled in one of the most picturesque spots in the country on the banks of the Blackwater Valley near the Waterford Cork Border. Dating from 1797 it was the first purpose built hotel in the country and original features such as winding wooden stairs, sash windows, high ceilings and ornate ceiling mouldings, coupled with all the luxuries of a modern-day hotel of course, make this a truly scenic Wedding Day venue. Your guests can avail of their 29 beautifully restored bedrooms and soak up the atmosphere of the town, which is steeped in history, and which provides a stunning backdrop for those cherished photos of your special day.
Capacity:
The Lismore Suite caters for between fifty and one hundred and seventy guests. It has spectacular views of Lismore Castle, birthplace of the celebrated scientist Robert Boyle, and guests can enjoy a stroll through its enchanting gardens. Glistening silver candelabras, cloches and tableware, along with dazzling white linens and chair covers, add to the charm.

Menus are tailored to your requirements; suggested menus vary from between €32.95pp and €48.95pp.
Accommodation:
All rooms have been lovingly restored to their original Georgian style. With luxurious drapes, duck down pillows, carpets so deep that your feet sink into them, thick bathrobes and slippers, as well as modern day touches such as Plasma screens, Satellite TV and broadband – they combine old-world charm with all mod-cons. The majority of rooms have breathtaking views of either the castle or the town.
